Maui Shower Company is the brain-child of Tim Watts. The idea of making a HOT, CLEAN and PRIVATE mobile shower facility came to him after his daughter decided not to go to a multi-day music festival because it lacked shower facilities.

After many late nights, an abundance of rough sketches, and several years of planning, Tim finally developed a workable draft of his idea. In 2004, the sketches came to life through the help of a professional engineering company. After a lengthy delay from inspiration to reality, the first Maui Shower trailer was complete. Maui now constructs all of their trailers through their private production company, and are committed to using only the highest quality materials.

At the start of the first year of business, Maui Shower Company had no contacts in the industry and no leads for events. However, after only a few short months, a lot of work and a few bookings, the word of Maui Shower Company’s uncompromised quality and service spread throughout the country. The following year, Maui added two more shower trailers, and the company continues to grow.

With the addition of new trailers, Tim needed more staff support. He decided to take a chance and hired his son, Sam, a college recent graduate, to handle event coordination and general operations. Under this new partnership, the company flourished, and soon people were asking for Maui Shower Company by name.

Currently, Maui Shower Company is running at full speed with no intent to slow down. With the ability to provide over 1,200 showers per day from a single trailer, Maui Shower Company provides top-of-the-line shower facilities for some of the biggest outdoor events and festivals in America, including NASCAR and NHRA.

Clean Water - The Maui Shower Trailer does require a water supply. We can either hook up to a hydrant or, water will need to be trucked in and held in our fresh water holding tanks

Grey Water - Each Maui Shower Trailer has two 3.000 gallon holding tanks to hold grey water. We also have the ability to dump the grey water into a sewer system

Space - Each Maui Shower Trailer requires a flat, hard surface (cement, gravel, or grass) that is 70 feet long and 40 feet wide

Time - Our goal is to create an exceptional experience for your guests - one that will keep them coming back to your event year after year. To that end, we create a rental agreement for your event that meets needs of you and your guests

Q: How much space do you need?
A: We need a flat, hard surface (cement, gravel, or grass) that is 70 feet long and 40 feet wide.

Q: How do guests pay for a shower?
A: Tokens are purchased or acquired prior to entering the shower. The on-site Maui Shower staff member will handle the transactions. We accept cash payments only. However, arrangements can be made to pre-purchase tokens for your guests.

Q: How long does a typical shower take?
A: 15 minutes: 5 minutes to prepare for the shower, 5 minutes to take the shower, and 5 minutes to dry off and get dressed.

Q: How do the showers work?
A: Guests need a token before entering the shower. When the guest is ready to take the shower, the token is put into a slot inside the shower and a timer for 5 minutes will begin. The shower beeps when there is 1 minute left. After the time has run out, the shower automatically stops.

Q: Are the showers cleaned after each customer?
A: Yes, we pride ourselves on maintaining clean shower units.

Q: What else does Maui Shower provide?
A: In addition to a HOT, CLEAN and temperature-controlled shower, guests
can purchase soap, shampoo and towels at the event.

Q: What are the hours of operation for Maui Shower trailers?
A: Typically from 6 AM-10 PM. We strive, however, to accommodate your needs if your event has a different schedule.

Q: How many guests can shower before the trailer needs more water?
A: We can run 1,200 showers before we need more water.

Q: How do you keep the water hot all the time?
A: We carry twin 125 gallon, diesel fired, commercial grade water heaters.

Q: What do you need for fresh water?
A: We need access to a hydrant or garden hose, or we need the water to be trucked in and we will hold it in our fresh water holding tanks.
